Quiz · Pico Identity
A short knowledge check. Answers are hidden behind callouts so you can self-grade after answering.
1. What question does a DID answer that an ECI cannot?
An ECI answers “how do I communicate with this Pico on this engine?” A DID answers “which Pico is this?” — the durable identity of the Pico itself.
2. What is the analogy for did:webvh and did:peer?
A did:webvh is the Pico’s passport (public identity for introduction); a did:peer is a private address given to one relationship.
3. Why does a Pico use a different did:peer for each relationship?
Isolation. If one relationship is compromised, its peer DID can be rotated, removed, or recreated without changing the Pico’s other relationships, and no single relationship can reveal the others.
4. Which DID is primarily an introduction identity?
The did:webvh. It is used for public identification, resolution, and cryptographic introduction, not for every subsequent interaction.
